W
e were very pleased to be welcomed to the Christmas Carol Service of The Worshipful Company of Musicians at St Michael's Church on Cornhill. The Order of Service is shown below, click an image to expand.

After the Service, we went very conveniently to the adjoining 'Counting House' and to our Private Dining Room for a fizz reception, followed by a 3 course supper with further wines and a glass of port. During the evening, we enjoyed the Master's Prize Draw and a number of lucky attendees went home with various bottles and foodstuffs likely to come in handy during the festive period.

Following the Toast to a "Happy Christmas", it was time for a few 'Santas' selected from the room to distribute an individual gift to every attendee. A cash bar operated in our private dining room for another hour or so, before saying final goodbyes and looking forward to next time.

We are extremely privileged to have been invited by The Worshipful Company of Musicians to join them at their Christmas Carol Service at St. Michael's, Cornhill.

This beautiful, well known City Church is famous all over the world for its long standing musical traditions. With its splendid and recently restored organ and superb choir, it will be a truly magical Christmas service (a rguably the best in the City).

Starting at 6pm, the Service will last about an hour or so, after which we say goodbye to the Musicians' Company and will move literally next door to 'The Counting House'. Here we have secured a private dining room, which will be set out for a 'sparkling' reception and a 3 course dinner with all the usual festive party accompaniments.

Of course the Carol Service is completely optional. Those not wanting to attend can go straight to the Griffin Room of The Counting House for about 7.15pm!

Timings are never exact, but plan for a finish time of about 10pm
