 Friday 18th March 2016

On a chilly Friday morning, the new Master - Mrs Christine Nevard MBE, officially took office at the Annual General Meeting of the Cripplegate Ward Club, held in The Print Room of Guildhall. A number of photographs taken at that meeting are presented below - click the picture to view an expanded version.

After the meeting closed, the new Master welcomed everyone to The Old Library for a sparkling wine reception.

The Club's Honoured Guest was on this occasion Sheriff, Dr Christine Rigden who attended with her husband Stephen. Other special guests included The Prime Warden of the Master's own Livery Company, the Basketmakers', Mr Richard Boucher-Giles, together with his wife Nicky, the Mistress Basketmaker. The Master was also pleased to extend a welcome to Superintendent Paul Clements of the City of London Police in anticipation of the Club's visit to the City Police Headquarters building in Wood Street later in the year. We were delighted to welcome the Immediate Pastmaster Musician, Mrs Kathleen Duncan and from the Guildhall School of Music & Drama, Mr Duncan Barker (Director of Development) together with Rachel Dyson - also from the Development team.
