Visit to Coopers Livery Company with a talk by the Clerk and Dinner

The 18th of May was the first time it had rained for almost a month. But it did not dampen the spirits of our members and guests.
The event yet again was oversubscribed. Our members enjoyed an interesting talk by Cooper’s curator Mr Don Lyons. We then sat down to a scrumptious dinner in the elegant surroundings of this Georgian hall.
Our members commented on how much they enjoyed the evening, which ended with the club singing ‘roll out the barrel’ to Don sending him on his way. I understand the song is to be adopted by Coopers as their new signature tune.
